Elizabeth Hewitt
Partner

With more than 12 years writing and communications experience, Elizabeth brings a keen sense of storytelling to her work. Born and raised in Australia, Elizabeth earned her Journalism degree from Queensland University of Technology before embarking on her communications career in London, England.

Working in Brisbane, London and Vancouver has allowed Elizabeth to stockpile experiences and inspiration. At QUT’s Creative Industries Faculty, Elizabeth collaborated with students and academics to showcase their talent to industry and media. As an Account Executive with Sue Blake Media, Elizabeth worked alongside authors and personalities to develop and nurture their media presence. Most recently, as a Communications Specialist with the Financial Services firm, Raymond James Ltd., Elizabeth refined her writing for a business audience.  From the arts and academia, to publishing and finance, each experience called for thoughtful writing and a genuine connection with client and audience.

For as long as she can remember Elizabeth has been writing in some capacity.  The short stories and diary scrawls of childhood have progressed to a new kind of storytelling. When she’s not working, she’s watching BBC historical dramas, hiking the North Shore trails with her husband and reading Mr Men books to her daughters Claudia and Penelope.

Marget Milne
Partner

Marget’s passion for words began in her coastal BC childhood. It grew to include studies in literature, art history and education, and has inspired many travels and adventures.

It also sparked a desire to nurture a love of reading, writing and the arts in children. This took shape through her work with an inner city literacy organization as well as in the classroom. These experiences helped solidify her belief in storytelling as a powerful tool to build understanding and connection.

Upon leaving academics for the business world, training & organizational development was a natural transition. This work offered Marget a new audience, and developed her ability to build learning and achieve business objectives using engaging content and strategic communications.

After relocating to Vancouver Island, Marget continued working on training & communications projects, editing and content writing, and built a solid freelance client base. In 2013, a serendipitous reconnection with a friend resulted in an exciting new venture that perfectly combines her passion, skills and experience.

Marget loves to explore BC’s incomparable beauty with her husband John and their two story-loving little girls, Avery and June.
